Stallion 51

You can spend an hour soaring and swooping through Central Florida in a beautifully preserved and painted P-51 Mustang from the Kissimmee Airport. These classic World War I airplanes are powered by V-12 Rolls Royce engines and can reach speeds of 500 mph, though you'll be limited to 280 or 300 mph.  You'll sit in the back of these Mustangs with dual-control cockpits, but you'll have control of the plane for most of the time if you want it. History of Stallion 51

In April of 1999, 65 P-51 Mustangs and 12 Mustang legends from WWII gathered at Stallion 51 Corporation's Kissimmee, Florida headquarters for a "Class of 51" reunion, reuniting the planes and pilots who made history. This event led to the creation of the Stallion 51 flight experience, giving civilians the opportunity to fly in a WWII-era P-51 Mustang.

Air Shows

At air shows across North America, Stallion 51 Corporation conducts high-performance military-style aerobatic routines. Low level techniques such as vertical rolls, barrel rolls, inverted passes, Cuban eights, loops, point rolls, and tuck-under break to landing are included in the ten-minute aerobatic routine, which is set to music.


Flight Training

P-51 Mustang and T-6 Texan recurrent training is available at Stallion 51.  The Stallion 51 Mustang and T-6 Texan are FAA approved for primary and instrument training.


Flight Programs

The Mustang, Texan, and L-39 are available for orientation flights, giving you a chance to experience the thrill of flight in a warbird. Orientation flights offer a 30-minute experience that lets you take the controls and fly the plane.


Dual Control Cockpit

The Mustang, Texan, and L-39 are all available with dual control cockpits, which let you have hands-on flying for the majority of the flight.


Crazy Horse

Crazy Horse is one of the most well-known P-51 Mustangs in the world.  She was used in the production of the movie Memphis Belle and has made appearances at airshows all over the world.


The Little Witch

At Sun'n Fun 2003, the Little Witch was named the Post-World War II Grand Champion.. She is a T-6 Texan that has been restored to her original glory..
